December 22: The repairs to the building are almost finished and the building manager has given me permission to move in January 1. January 3: First day of moving back in. I was allowed to leave workbenches, tables, cabinets, boxes of paint, and other bulky things while the space was renovated. Everything is dusty and dirty—feels like it’s been abandoned for ten years. January 17: With the help of John Barron, Matt Gorski, and Scott Anton I’ve retrieved my things from storage at Rob Segal’s, now dealing with sorting and cleaning. February 6: Three weeks of sorting, cleaning, and derusting have almost restored the shop. I have yet to bring over my posters to really make it feel good again. I might get the rack for painted frames up this week, and I’m waiting for the building contractor to install a make-up air vent for the paint shop. February 24: Except for a few details, the shop is finally finished. I’m still waiting for the contractor and the make-up air vent so the paint shop is not yet complete. March 2: The make-up air vent is finished and except for a few small details, CKC is fully operational.

Thanks to Dan Ostrowski for his help with this website, Vincent Dominguez for some great photos, and to my customers for sending photos of their bikes. A lot of the lousy pictures are mine.
